A Bit About Me

Salma joined the Florin family in May 2013 as her values aligned with Florin Group’s mission of putting family first. Salma comes from a large family oriented background. Her grandparents, aunts, and cousins have all lived with her, granting her firsthand experience with guiding family members towards their goals using kindness and empathy. With her grandparents, Salma learned about geriatric care, medicare, and the sensitive needs of elders. When Salma’s extended family of aunts and cousins moved to the U.S., her family helped them with their journey in a new country. Through numerous family interactions, Salma understands the importance of patience and sympathy when dealing with sensitive and emotional topics.

Salma has taken on the role of Financial Consultant and works one-on-one with our  clients to deliver financial strategies and solutions best fit for each client’s needs. She works directly with the financial advisor to develop financial plans and propose alternative recommendations regarding new investment opportunities. Salma loves talking to our clients and addressing any questions they may have regarding their accounts, policies, and processes.

Salma graduated in May 2014 with her B.S. in Finance and a minor in Sociology from George Mason University. Salma is a Certified Paraplanner from American College. She also has her Series 65 and Life & Health licenses. Salma is currently studying to complete her Certified Financial Planning Designation. She is also only 2 exams away from receiving her Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation! During her spare time, Salma loves eating sweets, reading books, and volunteering. Salma is extremely dedicated and truly grateful for opportunities to offer clients exceptional service. Salma is the joy of our Florin office. Our current clients all agree!
