A Bit About Me
William Kuo is a strategic finance leader with over 20 years of experience driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional transformation across corporate FP&A, investment management, and credit analysis. He previously led Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis for a private, regional manufacturing company, partnering with the CEO, CFO, and plant leadership on decisions that shaped the business's future.
He spent years as a sell-side analyst at Cowen and Company, where he built deep valuation models and published investment research on publicly traded companies. From there, he moved to the buy-side as a Portfolio Analyst at Barings, making direct investing decisions for institutional clients. He went on to serve as a Director in Fitch Ratings' Corporates group, overseeing credit ratings and risk analysis for a portfolio of public and private companies, and regularly engaging with C-suite executives and investor relations teams on rating actions and rationale.
William graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2004. He became a CFA charterholder in 2010 and has continued to build his technical toolkit along the way.
He brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every engagement, grounded in years of translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insight for the people who rely on it most.
William and his wife, Gloria, live with their cute dog Barky.
